Mercer Island High School Drama proudly presents
Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare.
Love, loss, laughter, and longing collide as William Shakespeare’s most enchanting romantic comedy takes over the stage at Mercer Island High School, filled with romance, music, poetry, comedy, swordplay, and irresistible mischief.
After a violent shipwreck, Viola is cast upon an unknown shore. Scared yet determined, she embarks on a daring new life in the mysterious and colorful land of Illyria. Disguising herself in order to stay safe, Viola steps into service as a messenger of love between Duke Orsino and Countess Olivia. What follows is a tangled love triangle filled with mistaken identities, secret longings, and unexpected revelations. As Viola navigates her double life, she finds herself swept up in the chaos and humanity of sudden love.
